Market Hall provides a curated experience with many food vendor and retail choices in one central location in the heart of Hercules. Customers will be able to explore new culinary delights everyday with vendors providing hearty foods from around the world without having to travel very far. Throughout the site, visitors will find old materials repurposed into beautiful custom art pieces handcrafted by California artisans.
Directly off the main entrance to the “Commons,” will be “Silver Springs”, a collection of vintage airstream trailers that will be converted into playful retail kiosks that complement the “Play Grounds” and the “Commons.” In addition to the local food vendors and artisan retailers, Market Hall will also be the new home of The Hercules Certified Farmers Market.
Across the Lawn from the Bocce Ball center and fireplace, the “Play Grounds” area is a place for families to gather and create new memories. With its tot lot and café seating adjacent to the coffee vendor, the “Play Grounds” serves as a place for parents to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and watch their kids play.

As an extension of the Commons walkway, the "Lawn" allows for sunning and casual seating for entertainment.  The Lawn leads directly onto the stage, ready for live musical events, movie nights, special sports viewings, children’s story time, creative readings, and a variety of other performances. Adjacent to the Lawn is the bocce ball center with two courts and ample seating for viewing competitions.

The “Commons” walkway is a landscaped outdoor area that extends the Main Hall experience with seating and ample room for browsing. This area will have several small artisan retail shops. The Red Barn Co. envisions that local community groups such as book clubs, Mom’s groups, and craft clubs may utilize the area as a gathering space for their impromptu meetings. As an extension of the Commons walkway, the Lawn will allow for sunning and casual seating for entertainment. The Lawn is terminated by a stage for live musical groups, movie nights, and even creative readings. Directly adjacent to the Lawn is the bocce ball center with two courts and ample seating.

Visitors to Market Hall’s community dining space, “Main Hall”, adjacent to the “Commons”, will find a variety of quality mobile food vendors ranging from Korean BBQ to Mexican food to authentic Texas BBQ, and plenty more, giving the community a rotating menu of daily food options.  Calling upon Route 40’s road side diners of years past, Market Hall visitors are encouraged to sit at one of our many custom picnic tables or our hand crafted Communal Dining Table, grab a bit to eat, and strike up a conversation.  Visit our “What’s Cooking” tab to get the latest list of food vendors daily.
